As the Deputy Principal at St James, I really enjoy working alongside a strong team of committed and passionate educators, who foster the love of learning. I love being a part of the St James community where making people feel a sense of belonging and feeling safe is important. With my husband and two daughters, I enjoy travelling overseas and reading.

I have really enjoyed commencing teaching at St James, with such a dedicated, passionate and welcoming staff it has been an easy transition to the new school community.
The Prep year is such an important part of their schooling, building relationships with each and every child and supporting them on their journey in an environment where every child feels valued and confident is so important. I aim to foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere that celebrates individual strengths and fosters a growth mindset. My passions for science, literacy and sustainability are also weaved throughout my practice.
When not teaching, I enjoy time with my family on the Mornington Peninsula, snorkeling in the rockpools, local walks and volunteering on the Wandinong Advisory Committee to improve and maintain one of the local bushland reserves.

St James is such a wonderful place to work. As a junior level classroom teacher, I enjoy seeing the educational progress of the students; from the beginning to the end of the year. I love the challenges and learning opportunities that Year 1 brings. Beyond the classroom, I like going for walks, watching TV and spending time with my wife and two daughters.

As a classroom teacher, I aim to create a classroom that is a welcoming and engaging environment for all students. I am passionate about supporting each child I teach to reach their full potential. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy brunching with friends, shopping, going for walks and spending time with my husband and daughter.

My favourite part of teaching is seeing the smile on a student’s face when they achieve their goals. Outside of school, I enjoy going kickboxing and spending time with my family and friends.

I have been a teacher at St James for over 10 years now, and I love it! I love the warm and welcoming community, where the partnership between school, students and their families is valued immensely. I’ve recently returned from maternity leave in a part time capacity and I am loving being back in the classroom again!

As a St James alumna this school and community is very special to me and I was given the fortunate opportunity to return as a teacher. I love teaching PE at St James. I love how enthusiastic and willing the students are to engage in the program. Watching them develop their skills in the wide variety of games and sport programs we have on offer is exciting to see. I enjoy inspiring the students to have a lifetime love of movement, exercise and healthy eating. Outside of school my personal passions are reading, exercise and most of all spending time with my husband and three children.
